Description
VRAE cacao is native to central Peru, and overlaps with the better known chunchos. The name comes from an abbreviation of the region in which it grows (Valle de Rios Apurimac, Ene, & Mantaro) This cacao was grown on the Qori Warmi cooperative – started by a group of women in 2018.
Fairly smooth texture, notes of earl gray tea, cinnamon, peach, very low astringency and low to medium acidity.
